Panasonic is bringing health and wellness solutions to Smart Cities around the world. We’re currently working with the City of Denver to establish a Tele-health pilot program we’re calling On4Care. The main goal of this solution is to empower older patients to remain in their homes rather than relocate to a nursing home. The TV based system allows patients to use diagnostic peripherals to monitor weight, blood pressure and temperature, and transmit those readings to a local care facility. The healthcare professionals are able to monitor patients remotely, allowing them to stay more engaged while
greatly reducing the cost associated with in-home visits.

We strongly believe that this technology will inspire greater participation from family members, lessen the burden on healthcare practitioners and ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of the patient.

Also in development are public area health service kiosks and other smart, connected technologies that can enhance care options for patients and their families.
